Pulled out of service by shock giant RockShox, the suspension fork Pike regained its place in the manufacturer’s product range starting from this year. And as if the simple revival of the model wasn’t enough, the producer pushed up the ante, offering it in a wide array of versions, for all mountain bike wheel sizes and different travels.

Therefore, the model designed for 26, 27.5 and 29er mountain bikes will have a travel of 160mm and 150mm, additionally the latter one having an 140mm option. A true show of craftsmanship lies within the weight of the RoxkShox Pike, ranging between 1.835 and 1.876 grams, despite the 35mm magnesium stanchions.

For wheel mounting, there is the 15mm Maxle Lite axle, that doesn’t require any tools for adjusting it, but according to the manufacturer, the Charger shock is really the who’s who of this fork. Among other features, it has 3 compression positions, Open, Pedal and Lock, eaching being purpouse-built for different trail conditions and types, and the Rapid Recovery function which allows adjusting the rebound. Bound to hit the shelves of shops in May, the RockShox Pike RCT3 will pe priced between 878 and 949 euros.
