Northwave expands the Extreme Graphic cycling clothing line

Rather more known for their cycling shoes, Northwave has entered for some years in other areas of the cycling equipment sector, launching the high-visibility pieces of clothing. Now, they carry on this way and enlarge the Extreme Graphic collection, their top-end equipment line, with items suited for road cycling as well as for mountain biking.

Besides the high-visibility colours available, the manufacturer also included red, white and blue inserts along the Italian tricolore design, and used the very best materials the company has access to for this Pro line products. As far as pricing goes, the short sleeve jersey will cost 80 euros, being based on the Airskin fabric, and having adherent strips in order to keep it in place.

The 90-euro/pair bib shorts are manufactured out of the Atlanta Plus fabric, and they get some extra support from it thanks to its ability to compress the thigh. The chamois’s thickness varies from 13 to 4mm, having numerous small perforations that secure a superior ventilation, while the ends of the shorts have a MicroSkin tape, 4,5mm wide, that hold them in place.

Northwave also revamped the socks and gloves. Manufactured out of the Coolmax fabric, and having the heel and toe sectors reinforced, the socks have an ankle height of 24mm and are designed to fit the foot tightly, while the gloves rely on an aerodynamic approach having minimalistic seems and breathable fabric. MSRP for these products are 12, respectively 25 euros.
