The e-bike segments keeps on growing and this is true also for the electric mountain bikes. Bergamont thought it should step out of the crowd so the company fitted one of its 29ers with an electric motor, thus bringing us the E-Line C-29.
The E-Line C-29 is based on the Revox model, which features an aluminum frame, and which was specificed with an Bosch electric engine capable of generating 250W. Amongs other components we can find Mavic CrossRide wheels, a Rock Shox Reba SL fork and Shimano SLX brakes. The producer mounted on the bike a BGM Pro crankset that has only one 42-tooth chainring which will have to work with the 10 sprocket cassette. Completing the spec chart are the Shimano XT rear derrailleur and the Schwalbe Racing Ralph tires, that manage to keep the weight of the bike at a decent value of 16.5 kilograms.
A gross estimate of Bergamont is that the new e-bike can reach a top speed of 25 km/h and the retail price will be 2.999 euros.
