Against all expectations, Cube’s AIM won’t be the brand’s entry-level 27.5 inch mountain bike, the company taking the decision to make Analog, the next best model, the lowest bike of this category. So, in 2014, Analog will be available in 3 wheel size, namely 26, 27.5 and 29 inch ones.
You’ll also find that Analog’s frame is present on higher-ranked model of the range. Like most of the German manufacturer’s bikes, it includes the Agile Ride Geometry technology, which enhances its responsivness, and makes it more compliant with long recreational rides.
Analog features a 3×9 drivetrain, Shimano M395 hydraulic disk brakes equipped with 160mm rotors, and a Suntour XCR 100mm travel fork. Another component widely found on Cube bikes will be the Schwalbe Smart Sam tires, sized 27.5 x 2.25. With an affordable pricetag somewhere around 800 euros, or even less, Analog will make its way in bike shops in the coming period.
