Bergamont’s entry-level category has been recently refreshed with the new Vitox 7.3 C2, which benefits from a better designed frame, with serious improvements regarding stifness and weight.
The new version is stiffer than the last one thanks to an element that stretches from the top tube to the seat tube, but weight is not altered due to the Super Lite Tubing that Bergamont used. The dropouts have also been modified, becoming stronger. The 24-speed drivetrain is composed out of an Acera rear derailleur, a Shimano M310 front derailleur and a M311 crankset. Also, the shifters are from the same Shimano non-series range. The Vitox 7.3 C2 comes equipped with hydraulic disk brakes, Tektro HDC 300 being the choice of Bergamont, the front brake receiving an 180mm rotor, while the rear one an 160mm rotor.
